· Tim & Beverly were both born and raised in Miami, Florida (SW area of Dade County). In 1978 they met at church, fell in love and were married in June of 1980. This started the beginning of a life long relationship both in marriage, family, and business partnership.

· Tim has 16 years of employment in the mining industry, located in the Okeechobee/Medley area. Employment experience and responsibilities included management administration, budgeting, aggregate production, heavy equipment repair and maintenance, explosives, etc.

· Beverly held several different jobs, including office manager for physician's office, accounting/bookkeeping for building inspection company, secretarial positions and the most notable was serving as administrative assistant to the Vice President of Marketing/PR for Baptist Heathcare Systems of S. Florida. Responsibilities included various marketing projects, scheduling & organizing the Continuing Education programs for the staff physicians (at that time approximately 500), creating brochures, flyers, etc. arranging conferences, meetings, etc.

· We began investing and renting real estate by buying houses and engaging in long term rentals/leases in 1982. Twenty-two years combined real estate investment/rental experience in the S. Florida area.

· In 1988, after numerous vacations to the mountains of Western NC, we decided to expand our real estate investment, rental experience into NC with a vision of fulfilling the need, which we perceived in the market place for vacation rental log cabins. We did this by purchasing 55 acres, this was the beginning of Fall Creek Cabins. The first step to realizing our dream of someday relocating in the beautiful scenic North Carolina Mountains.

· In 1994 we we were blessed by the birth of our first born son, Zachary, a welcomed addition to the Thompson family.

· We continued to maintain our employment positions in Miami, as well as managing our rental homes in Miami and NC until we made the decision to relocate to NC in 1995. We continue to own, manage and operate Fall Creek Cabins and currently have 8 log cabins in that facility. This represents a combined level of 32 years experience in the vacation rental market in the Western NC area.

· In 1998, Tim made the business decision to work towards becoming a licensed NC General Contractor and this was achieved in September of 1999, License # 45800.

· In 2000 we we were again blessed by the birth of our daughter, Kaessey.

· A few years ago we decided to obtain our real estate brokers licenses in order to apply our expertise not only into sales (Fall Creek Properties) but more primarily into the property management market. We did this because we believe that with the tremendous growth in the area that there was a lack of highly skilled and professional property management companies and that many absentee owners in the area would be in need of these services. The main target area of this endeavor is southern region of Ashe County and the northeastern region of Watauga County. This vision has given birth to Fall Creek Vacation Rentals.

· Given our background and experience in development, construction, business administration, etc. and the desire to specialize in promoting high quality properties, we have been very selective in what properties we will accept in our management program. We have found that often times working with developers and builders provides a win/win situation for all parties involved. This has proven to be true in our relationship with the owner and developer of the River Ridge development in northeastern Watauga County.

· It is our goal to be the leading property management company in the area and to have a reputation for handling top quality, well equipped, well maintained upscale properties that customers will have complete confidence in returning to on future trips. Although customers may not come here every single year, our goal is that when they do plan a trip to this area that there will be no question in their mind as to who they will contact for their vacation accommodations.
