How far apart are your cabins from one another?
Our log cabins are situated on 78 acres, along one mile of
private road, in settings that attempt to maximize seclusion
and privacy while utilizing usable building sites, depending on the
topography of the land. Five of our cabins offer very secluded settings
(you can not see one cabin from another). Two of our cabins are within
sight of one another (Mountain Laurel and Blueberry Hideaway),
approximately 150 feet apart. However, the way in which they are
oriented on the building sites still affords a much greater
degree of privacy than is normally found at most vacation
rental developments. These two cabins are ideal for larger
groups as they are in close walking distance of each other.
Return
to index of questions
What type of views do your cabins offer?
All of our cabins offer short range wooded mountain views,
each setting offering a unique view of its own. In keeping with
our attempts to maintain seclusion and privacy we have
chosen to cut as few trees as possible around each cabin in
order to give the privacy that most people are looking for and
cant find at other facilities. During the winter months the range of
views does increase due to the lack of foliage.

index of questions
How many nights are included in the weekly rate?
Our weekly rate is based on 5 nights at the nightly rental
rate
of the particular cabin that you are reserving. The time frame
for a weekly rental would be 7 nights, therefore the 6th and 7th
night
are at no charge. However, a full 7 nights rental is subject to availability
at the time you place your reservation for the particular cabin that
you are interested in as well as the size of your group that the cabin
will accommodate. Many times our weekends reserve months in advance,
leaving only 5 or 6 nights available in the week.
We recommend on all weeks in which guests wish to receive
7 nights that they make their reservations early.
Return
to index of questions
Is there a certain day of the week that
we are required to
check-in or check-out on weekly rentals?
There is no particular day that you have to check-in/out,
for example, many facilities offer only Friday to Friday stays,
or Saturday to Saturday stays. We do not limit you to those days.
We try to accommodate all of our guests needs,
therefore a guest may arrive and depart on their schedule
subject to availability at the time that they place their reservation.

How can we see one of your cabins?
Due to the need to coordinate with our occupancy schedule
our cabins can only be shown by appointment .
We have met with many of our potential guests who are planning
future trips, honeymoons, etc. Just contact us and allow ample
time for us to arrange an appointment around (our/your) schedules,
as well as the occupancy schedule of the cabin.
We suggest that you do not plan to visit our facility on your
own as we have a locked gated entrance and in all
probability you will not be able to enter on your
own without an appointment.
